I've always been this not-so-open book!! I know for a fact that even though I look like an extrovert and behave like one, I draw my line very soon and almost no one knows of my past life or my relationships or anything for that matter!! It's been fun living this way cos it gives me a real sense of satisfaction... Let's say I've been a mystery!! Yea, I've got a lot of close friends and all but I'm a firm believer of the "IT's MY LIFE" thing!!
This is probably my first confession of my first relationship to anyone and it's real awkward that it's gonna get read by unknown people!! But i thought it would be fun!! My first relationship "happened" when i was in my sixth (lets not call it a relationship here, cos it was never defined by us that way!! We were too small then) She thought i was cute and funny and i thought she had a nice big ass!! lolz( true..) so we kinda connected and were close till she had to change schools in her eight!! We lost touch and so my first relationship ended in a break up (though no one cried about it) !! It's funny to recollect these things but yea, I like the way it happened and obviously it was a memorable one!!
This incident is pretty much about one of the most hated sector in our country,(or lets say Chennai, in particular) the AUTO DRIVERS!! I have been having this really bad experience with most auto drivers here!! They charge exorbitantly and it simply is the most basic reason for them being so hated!! There are really lots of incidents where I could've paid a lot lesser than they charged but... it happens!! Every Chennaiite will agree with me!! And if the petrol costs rise, it will definitely be termed among the most harrowing days by an auto rickshaw traveler!! These days I generally shun autos and use my two wheeler, my car or the public transport buses!!
Yea, after all this, the other day I had to take a share auto and I really had no other choice (Well, a share auto is a Chennaiite innovation where five or six people share for a drive in an auto and it only runs between fixed distances and they charge each person a meagre Rs.10) !! So thinking of the cheaper cost, I got into the auto and was traveling to my place and on the way, a small fellow with some flowers (prolly a flower vendor of very small age) got into our auto!! We had traveled a little distance and the fellow wanted to get down.. He got down and his hands went deep into his shirt's torn pocket and finally his eyes gleamed, he had got a 10rs note!! He offered it to the auto driver, and the auto driver to my surprise flatly refused it!! I was surprised and awed by this act of the auto driver!! I've never known them to be generous and when this kinds of things happen, the entire hatred towards the auto rickshaw community was wiped and it kind of cleared my bad imaginations about them!!
There are people like the one i mentioned and there are people who just squeeze the money out of you and let you feel harassed... If you are in Chennai or plan to come here some time, I just hope that you get a nice hearted auto driver driving you around the city!!
On my life, it's been a pretty nice week!! My exams were just about ok!!I guess I'll manage a 50 percent pass!! And the weather over here is awesome!! We don't see showers in this part of the world in March, so it has had a cooling effect and the climate is just perfect!!
Well, as you can already see, there's a voting going on on the right side!! It's kinda a reality check on how my blog is...I'm quite overwhelmed with the response I've got!! Pretty nice to see 10 votes within hours of setting the vote!! Pls extend your continued support!! And if you got any comments, put it down here!!
Well, it was official a long time back!! But i just got some time to update it on my blog!! Acknowledge all the people who have been involving themselves in putting up this hopefully fantastic show "ORION '08".. This year's culturals has been termed as a intra college culturals, so outsiders not allowed!! And i guess they are pretty strict about this cos there were signs like
TRESPASSERS WILL BE SHOT, SURVIVORS WILL BE SHOT AGAIN"
And i dont have a college ID!! So again, i wouldn't be attending the culturals(not because of the ID), cos i have some other commitments with greater priority!!
Here, I would like to share my last year Orion experience!! The first day, i got my sparkling white Orion Shirt and the full day was fun jeering and encouraging the people on stage!! It was nice to go back home late in the college bus chatting with people and stuff.. (Note that none of the events were worth mentioning though)..
The second day was fun!! The skits they put up, the shipwreck events and all the other events were definitely worth a watch..Thats why i had a second opinion on attending it this time but as luck would have it, I gotta forego Orion this time! And again the late evening college bus journey in traffic was fun ...This was one thing that left everyone surprised at the Orion '07.. An awesome piece of art that looks "ORION" from whichever side it's looked at!!
This year the Orion boasts of a larger no. of events and stuff.. They've included online gaming and online treasure hunt and stuff, which are definitely interesting!! And yea, here i would like to wish all my friends and everyon who's performing on the D-day.. Let it be a memorable day for you guys and gals!! Eagerly awaiting to catch up with your experiences soon after the two days are over!!
